The Obituary for Mr. Elmer McIntosh
Mr. Elmer McIntosh, born October 7, 1922 departed this life on Sunday March 3, 2013 at the Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center. Elmer was born at Hilton, Kentucky the son of the late Steve McIntosh and the late Mandy Crawford McIntosh. Elmer was also preceded in death by his wife Essie Guffey McIntosh.
Elmer was a lifelong resident of Perry County having resided in the Airport Gardens section of Hazard. He was a World War II Veteran stationed in Germany at the end of the war. He was an employee of Faulkners Garage for 37 years. His hobbies included carpentry and woodworking. Elmer will be missed by his family and Friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Elmer McIntosh will be held on Tuesday March 5, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Don Pinson officiating at the Engle- Bowling Funeral Home Chapel on East Main Street in Hazard Kentucky where the Family will receive Friends between the hours of 12 Noon until 2:00 PM. The Riverside Cemetery located in Hazard, Kentucky is the place of burial. Military rites will be preformed immediately following the service by the DAV Chapter 64.
